30 Day Snap #19 | Goodbye to College, friends, tutors & to the best hot chocolate!

Yesterday I said goodbye to friends such as Peachy & Linda. Amazing women!
I will miss them both terribly.
In the morning I bought a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits for my tutor Andy. Every Thursday we would all have biscuits & tea in class... such a feel good atmosphere for the day.
So with the biscuits, me and Peachy signed the bear-designed card, drawn by our friend Jaz. THE TEDDY BEAR IS SO CUTE!

I had my last (the best hot chocolate I've discovered) in our Colleges' Starbucks... with the most amazing vanilla cream... Mmmmmm, now this I shall miss!

After giving a huge, long hug to Peachy, me & Jaz set off to the Noahs Ark hospice with the money we had raised. There we were given more papers on volunteering for the hospice. If I do come back to Barnet next September, I may actually help out if I can.

So, sad goodbyes to friends & tutors.
I was so happy in this College. I preferred going there compared to the house I was staying in.
I was also delighted to get back my final grade... passed everything officially. Throwing my portfolio in my head tutors face... "Hear You! You can take this!"

How's everyones snap challenge coming along?

Thanks for reading,

Thankful Thursday

I want to have a kitty cat, so I can put a whooly hat on him. Too CUTE!

This guys is my final Thankful Thursday in London. I shall be in Edinburgh this time next week... *bringing on the 'Oooooos'* Yeah I know! Amazing!

Carrying on, my week remained quite positive, especially with receiving word back that my suspected glandular fever was negative. THANK YOOOOOU DOCTOR! Now I can be happy with my holidays, with no worries. Throughout yesterday and today I've been looking over bit and bobs over at Canterbury. I'm still amazed by its beauty. I happened to have met a lady today, who went there for a day, for her new years resolution. She was awestruck by its charm, beauty and historic features. The young lady said she'd been inside the Canterbury Cathedral and described it as magnificent. The cathedral itself is supposedly where I should be graduating in 3 years time... *fingers crossed!*

So my Thankful Thursday

Eating out in the beer garden with some of my college peers and head tutor - Meditteranean platter board was enjoyable with the witty Peachy.

Getting an evening off from work - got to watch the England Vs Italy match.

Ed Sheerans music (both old & new) - opening up little parts of my soul.

Ella Henderson has been a pal to me this week, with going for countryside walk.

Bob Marley for making me see what truly matters in life!

Lidl chocolate - as good as any other.

Daily phone calls with the brother- discussing the matches (I'm fuming with Englands defenders tonight)

Being told by my mum how she's proud & jealous of my music - finally got her jealous.... kidding! But it's always good to know it's appreciated and supported.

Printing & checking-in for my flight back to Ireland.

Completing my portfolio for College... amazing how I did everything!

Buying gifts for tutors - they can't be thanked enough for everything they've accomplished with us.

Strawberry Activia yogurts.

Baby Daddy Finale!!!!!!!!! Dan the Man!

Burning candles.

Thank you for reading pip squeeks,

I hope you had a week for feeling thankful for,

Thankful Thursday

Hello hello, to everyone out there in the whole wild wide world!

Apart from getting sick and having to work while being sick, my week went quite alright. Tuesday was the first night in a long time, where I slept happily and comfortably. I'm hoping to get news back on my blood tests tomorrow at the GP's, so here's hoping that I'm okay.
The week really had me drained. But there were times when I did feel ever so happy.

Thankful Thursday

Having the uncontrollable desire to sing 'Happy' - Pharrell Williams, with being asked out for drinks (personally I think the restaurant that I work in, should be a whore house! All the staff do is flirt with one another. But it does bring tears of laughter and joy to my donkey featured face.

Antibiotics - Doctors orders! Penicillin is what has been getting me back into shape! Not trying to advertise drugs here people, but it is in its way making me happy with reaching to a better recovery.

Playing peeka-boo and confessions at College - our canteen has been turned into some sort of timber boxes / plasterboard maze. It's fun with being able to jump out at complete strangers and to not be afraid that they'll come find you.

Midnight snapchats with my great friend Cillian. It's difficult to contain my laughter with the fella, from just a single picture.

Soccer Aid - my brothers commentary is funny to listen to. He questions himself, which is more entertaining than the match at times.

Carnivals, McDonalds & flat shoes.

Day time naps.

Coldplay & Ed Sheerans new albums - just unbelievable!

Graham Nortan & Coronation Street

Just think people, next Thursday will be my final Thankful Thursday post here in Britain until next September.

Thanks for reading sheepys,

30 Day Snap #3 | A day of giggles, little purchases & freaky friends

Howya, from far and wide.
Can you believe it's June! It took me until this morning (yesterday heehee) to realise how just one year ago I flew over, for my interview for College. I can't wait to compare this months journey to last years. I say I did more stuff last year, as I wasn't studying then.

Day 3 June 2014

My main picture is of (top right) Robyn and (bottom left) Peachy from The Randomness of Unicorns. Robyn is Kiera Knightly in my eyes and Peachy is Peaches from Ice-Age. She's so cute! :)
I've never been a person afraid to make friends in different schools and places, just be yourself 'n all.
But I was lucky to have the bunch of girls in this course, even with the silly dramatic commotions I felt happy knowing what to expect in life. Honesty, back-stabbing, trust, were some of the things I have learned so much more about this year. I'm putting my trust out there more than I used to.

I spent my day laughing in class, laughing in the library, laughing in the corridors, laughing on the streets, in the shops, supermarket. Pretty much there was a lot of giggles going on. I only had 3 sugars in my cappachino (didn't make much sense) :D

Our lunch break usually goes along the lines as, getting something to eat, looking around the shops (Tuesday, it was Waterstones, SuperDrug, New Look, Greggs Bakery, Waitrose).

I met a fella with a purple wig on the street (singing to him that song from the Madagascar movie, the one with the Zebra wearing a clowns wig), bought a pastel coloured, flowery necklace in New Look (which I've wanted for a while now), danced to Ed Sheeran in Hopscotch sweet shop (bought my 1st twinkie - DELICIOUS!), bought a new box of Pukka tea (Love) and laughed my Irish behind off to some Vine videos.

I came home to slap a superdrug mask on my face,
with a cup of my new Pukka tea, while watching 'Mamma Mia'. Perfect feel good movie :)

Thanks to you from me, damn!... have The Beatles in my head now!

Anyways, thanks for reading blogging peeps,
Let me know how your day went. Anything fun? Any giggles? Any guys in purple wigs?

Thankful Thursday | Another Term

Picture - My own Credit (Comfy Cafe in Co. Roscommon, Ireland)

Hello guys, it's back to school, back to work and back to times of stress and no sleep... lovely :)

I was able to spend my half-term break in Ireland, so for me that was amazing. Even though my bed back home is like sleeping on a wall, at least there's no traffic.

After being delayed on a plane, sitting on it for 5 hours, and then sleeping for only 2 hours until the flight departed the next day, I finally got home. It was a very unusual Valentines for me. Even though I was afraid that I couldn't come home, I had a great time laughing with people, on the plane. We even had nicknames for people. I felt as though I was in a lost episode, Haa :D

So the week wasn't exactly about catching up with what my family and friends were getting up to. I always stay in contact to know how they're getting on, so the week was just to see them and to have their presence around me.

My Thankful Thursday

Spending time with my family.

3 cinema trips.
- 12 Years a Slave (6/10)
- Endless Love (4/10)
- Monument Men (3/10)

Cream - coffee, hot coco & cakes.

Late sleep-ins (12 hours a night, so plenty of catching up)

Visiting my neighbours and friends.

Being away from the sound of traffic and waking up to the sound of lambs in the morning.

Shopping trips with Mum.

Getting my summer, holiday clothes for Mauritius for this coming April.

De-stressing myself with baths, yoga, scented candles, chamomile tea with manuka honey.

Receiving phone calls from people that I met last year on a trip to Dublin, for a youth conference.

Allowing people to know me more about my family, interests, history, secrets. Beginning to open up.

I realise more and more, as I come back from Ireland, how lucky I really am to be living here. I'm not sure about how long I'll live here. But these past few months I've met the most amazing people that truly make a great impact on the ways I treat life. I've discovered more about my strengths and weaknesses and how exactly I can change my ways, to make me a better person. If I'm going to be a nurse I'll have to face these challenges. Such as courage. Finding that can be a hard thing to achieve.

Something that I couldn't do back in Ireland would be if I ever wanted my day to go different, not the same old routine and expecting nothing new to happen, well here I can make it  happen, if I want.
I love having something new to do after so long. For instance, starting this week, I now go to this cafe with my books, kindle, music, whatever it is, and I'll order a skinny spiced latte with a piece of cake. I get to have my own little space and time to myself. Usually I would depend on the library, or my bedroom for me-time. I'm happy that I like the cafe at least. It's difficult to find one where you feel comfortable.

So anyway, I left ye guys some pictures of my time from arriving at the airport in Dublin, to taking brisk walks in the countryside, to relaxing in one of my two favourite weekly cafes, in my hometown in Ireland. And guess what the name is of this cafe? 'Comfy Cafe'. The other one just if you're curious is 'Shells Seaside Cafe & Bakery'. For me tea and cake is what makes me most cheerful.

I do hope to do a post on the cafe at the seaside. But it will probably be Summer. Amazing when it's in summer. And this week I hope to put up my 2 liebster award posts. Finally the College has allowed for us students to breathe again, Haaa :D

Thanks for reading guys,

Thankful Thursday

Hello Beauties :)
It's yet another 'Thankful Thursday'... where I share what I was grateful for through the week.
It is actually becoming my favourite day of the week surprisingly. With having nice classes in College, finishing up at 2:30pm and looking forward to Friday :) I'm beginning to think that Thursday is now the start of the week ever since I started doing these posts.

So this week (from the pictures above) I spent my time studying for a big BIG exam in Physiology, working both Saturday and Sunday in the restaurant and attending a 'Mind, Body & Spirit Fair', which was a lot of fun. The psychic reading I got done was rubbish, I was the one being able to read her in the end..... FAKE!
But there were times that had me smiling and feeling good throughout the week.

Muh 'Thankful Thursday':
- Crumpets
- New Instagram Friend... she's so funny!
- 2 hour convo on Skype with Brother.
- Sunday lie-in with cousin watching 'X-Factor'.
- The Rain... yeah, because I'm happier with it when I'm working :)
- New facebook group... gossiping away about what not ;)
- A Clear Quartz Stone, a gift from a College friend.
- Birdy 'Wings'
- Watching 'Bones'... this will be a regular I grant you that... Sorry!
- New Gold Nail Varnish 'Barry M' from 'Superdrug' and a 'New Look' top.

I know people say this a lot, but this week did fly by... I'm happy by it really, mid-term is getting closer... YAY :) A whole week off.

So, I'm looking forward to what this week brings, hopefully unexpected, surprising things. I love surprises.

Thankful Thursday

Waaaazup guys :)
This week was full of hard work, sleep deprivation and lots of hot drinks and jam sandwiches... yeah... random enough for ya?
And I'm sorta glad the week is over, I'm wrecked, so much College work and so little time. Plus today I'm not even sure whether I'm going to the big special event of meeting Tanya Burr in London. I'm off from College early but everyone I know is either working, looking after kids or in a different country... the one person I want to be there with me is my Best Friend Edel Belle and sadly she's back home in Ireland :( SAD FACE!

Anyway here is the list of muh 'Thankful Thursday'

-Writing in my Diary at the Park.
-Starbucks Caramel Macchiato & semi-skimmed hot-chocolate with DOUBLE cream (it's the savage inside me).
-Tips from work, along with it's respectful customers.
-Comfy shoes.
-Sleep, after a long day at College/Work.
-Old, meaningful jewelry, given as gifts. And with them, their treasured memories.
-Orange 'Kit-Kat' bars.
-Respectful, considerate, hard-working College Tutors, (I think they deserve to be on the list).
-Best Friend catch-up on Skype.
-Tofu.
-Downton Abbey.
-Return of favourite US T.V. Shows.
-My Health.
-Alone Time.

What a week it's been. You know perfectly well what would top off this list... and it's the Tanya Burr meet-up. Oh to dream :)
Just keep Dreaming I say :)

Love you all so much m'dears,
