Thankful Thursday (Christmas Day)

My own Credit from my Instagram

Merry Christmas Everyone :)
I hope ye all got what you asked for, whether presents, family or even food. I myself asked for cranberry sauce, strange yeah, but it makes Christmas for me.

The picture above is of my friends in London, from my course, in our festive jumpers for our Christmas Party.
I might as well tell you all about my Christmas Day.
I woke up around 9am, and got all dressed up for mass. In our family we don't open presents until we're all together after Church. I was lucky enough to be singing in one of the most popular choirs around where I live. It was so beautiful having such music in the church. Even my Mum took part in the choir with me. I loved seeing all of the neighbors and friends. Receiving hugs and 'welcome home Michaela'. Usually for me the Church is the highlight of the day for me. I love to see eveyrone about in high spirits.
After Mass, me and my family went to visit my Grannys grave. I was upset for most of the day, because sadly it just didn't feel like Christmas without her.
After breakfast we all sat around in the sitting room, everyone taking turns opening their presents. I wasn't expecting anything this year, I was just excited to see the look on my brothers face when he opened his gift (a new Sony J Experia). He was trying to hide his smile, telling everyone to 'STOP LOOKING AT ME!'
I myself got a 'Soap & Glory' Collectable Christmas Box from my Godmother. I wasn't that surprised, because she always gets me a gift I love. My Mum got me 3 handbags (designer of course, because that's all she knows), a vest top from Oasis, a canturbury tracksuit. And my brother surprisingly got me some little things, a box of truffles and a CD album of Broadway songs (he knows me so well). He has ordered me something else online, but I won't know for a few days, so something else to look forward to.
My Dad claimed that I got him the best pressies, the first and second Star Trek movies and a Star Trek t-shirt and an album of The Police. I thought it was funny, because my Mum got him, as all wives do... socks. However, she did get him Beckham aftershave and a nice jumper, so her presents weren't that bad.
The day then just consisted of my cousin opening her presents that we had bought for her, saying hello to our grand-aunts, phone calling family in Manchester, wishing them Happy Christmas and eating a whole tin of roses while watching Harry Potter.

Thankful Thursday
- Being able to have family around to be there for you.

- The open fire. It's such a welcome when I'm home here in Ireland for the Christmas.

- When I came out at the airport in Dublin, and saw my parents standing their looking excited, well I can say that I had my little 'Love Actually' moment. That's all anyone wants for Christmas, is to have people around that love them.

- Christmas movies. Such as 'The Holiday', 'Santa Clause', 'It's a Wonderful Life', 'Harry Potter' and my favourite 'While you were Sleeping'.

-Peace and quiet. No arguments, no silliness. And let's not forget being able to sleep with no traffic outside.

All of these are my own, no steeling heehee :)
My Soap & Glory set (which my Mum wants to steel), new little kitten called Lucky Maria (she is so cute. I love carrying her everywhere) and then there is my cousin and I attempting to hide eachothers faces in a little Irish pub (There's so much love in that picture, Haa)

I do hope everyone had a quiet or loud, whatever ye prefer, Christmas. And that it was filled with turkey & ham, Roses or Celebrations, Tea or Hot Coco, Friends and family.

I wish all of you a Happy New Year. I do hope to put up a post on New Year Resolutions, so keep in touch bloggers :)

Love you all lots and lots xx

Thankful Thursday

Merry Christmas loveies :)
Back home in Ireland we would be putting up our tree on the 8th of December. Always a lovely thing to look forward to.

This week was such a lovely week for feeling grateful, for friends, family and the comfort of a lovely hot water bottle and painkillers.... what?

Thankful Thursday
1) Lunch with friends... yummy Strawberry pancakes with ice-cream. It was in a way like a British version of Ihop. After, me and my friends raced to the College. Everyone coming in panting and complaining of not resting their stomachs.
2) The last of the Autumn leaves leaving us. I will be sad to say goodbye to their warm, loving colours.
3) Winter issue of 'Oh Comely' (for the journey to Ireland, along with mentos.)
4) Weekend getaway to Ireland, where I spent the 3 days with my Mum, Dad, and brother Aran.
5) Cinema trip with Dad and my brother. We went to see my favourite book series, 'Catching Fire'.

Everyone has favourites so far, 'Twliight', 'Percy Jackson', 'Mortal Instruments', etc and I found mine last year. I experienced the exciting feeling of my favourite book series with 'Harry Potter' at the age of 8 and from that age, every year until the final book, I was afraid I would never come across such wonderful characters again. But I did. Last year I found 'The Hunger Games Series' and I was thrilled. The movie did the book justice in my opinion. There were parts missing, but that's to be expected. Can I just say I'm thankful for Peeta, Haa :) Love him.
6) Me and my family went to see the lights being switched on in our local town, in County Roscommon. It wasn't much, but the sense of community and festive feeling was in the open air. I got to meet a few old Secondary school teachers and got to catch up with them, in funnily enough a pub.
7) Doing the reading at my Grandads 12th Anniversary Mass. I was 8 when he passed away. I remember everything about him, but at that age loosing a loved one is different. We look at our parents and pity them. So every year on his Anniversary I say the readings, a little way of showing my thanks to God that he was in my life, even for that short length of time.
8) I got a Christmas pressie from my brother, 'Singing in the Rain'. He says he doesn't like them type of movies but he was laughing away, pretending to be asleep.
9) Watching my favourite Sam Bailey on X-factor. She is amazing. She has the voice, the beauty, and the driven determination, all with her loving family behind her. If I were in her position I couldn't imagine anything more unbelievable.
10) Discussing favourite movies with my friend Lauren. I'm so grateful to be able to laugh over funny scenes of 'Toy Story' and sqweel over rom-coms like 'The Wedding Date'. "Wasn't that just the perfect song..."

This week was wonderful. Even with getting seriously sick on Saturday till yesterday I was happy to get a breath of fresh air in Ireland. Yep, I got on a plane so I could just head over to Ireland for a breath of fresh air, Haa!

Love ye guys, x

Jolly Christmas Tag

Hello Christmas Lovers :)

Credit: 'Pinterest'

We are now in the Jolly Season of Christmas (just so ye know heehee)
And I wanted to really do this tag, simply because... I LOVE CHRISTMAS :)
I saw how Aimee did this tag last week (I've been in Ireland and have been so sick, so haven't had time) so please do a have at her blog. I love how she's so open with her followers. I respect her so much for it.

Me and my family go all out with Christmas, the lights, the decoration, the family day trip to Dublin for shopping and the cinema... this year we've decided that we'll be seeing the next Hobbit movie. All of us but Mum are fans. So Christmas this year will be more special to me because I live now in the UK, and I'm away from my family. This Christmas there will be lots of hugs and laughs in the family.

So the Jolly x-mas tag:

1) What's your favourite Christmas Song?
My favourite Christmas song is 'Fairytale of New York' by the Pogues. Reason being is because I feel a sense of pride hearing the traditional music and heavy Irish accents in the vocals and lyrics. I love to hear it at night in the car, singing away, being happy that it's Christmas.

2) What is your favourite Holiday Drink?
My favourite holiday drink, hmm... well, that's hard because I love hot chocolate and coffee with dollops of cream, however I have hot coco all year round; it's only at Christmas that me and my Mum have our tradition with coffee and cream. Like ye should look in our fridge, there is a HUGE bowl of cream, waiting to be attacked.

3) What is your favourite Christmas treat?

Credit from Pinterest

Mince Pies guys. The love of my life. It's funny cos they do taste strange, but that was me and coffee at first, I was all, "Eugh" but now I'm a caffeine addict. And another great bonus about mince pies is that cream can be added on top... CREEEEEAM :)

4) What is on the top of your Christmas list this year?
Well, I have nothing particular in mind so what I would like this year is surprises. I love surprises. So this year I hope to just get little things that I don't know that I'm getting. My Mum and brother are utter rubbish at surprises, like just last week I got a Christmas present from them... a bit too early guys! And my brother thought it wasn't a big deal, that's why he gave it early! But I loved it... "Singing in the Rain", I'm a lover of old classics.

5) Are you doing anything extra special Christmas?

Well, since I'm living in London, I get to see the lovely lights and decorations. Recently I saw the lights and beautiful window displays in London, favourites were on Bond St. at Selfridges... it was amazing. Plus I got to step foot in the Louis Vutons elevator which was opened the day before. I was terrified when it started spinning in circles, heehee. And before Christmas Edel is coming over for a few days, so we'll get to look around London together (she's so excited, so I'm happy about that.) There'll be shopping for pressies and treats as well... YAY and looking around in Winter Wonderland :) So yeah, that should count as 'something special over x-mas'.
(Apologies about the crappy pictures, I didn't have time uploading mine, so I used these from Pinterest instead.)

6) What is your favourite Christmas Carol?
'Oh Holy Night'. It touches my heart so much. I love 'Silent Night' as well but it would come second place really. I love singing them and hearing them every year in the choir. I go to two masses at Christmas, the one on Christmas Day and the one at midnight. Midnight mass in my hometown in Ireland is just beautiful, with the candles and lighting, and 'Oh Holy Night' just tops it off.

7) What is your favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of pine trees, Christmas Yankee candles and the moment I step foot in the Dining Room, the smell of our Christmas Day meal... delicious.

8) Do you have a stocking stuffer that makes its way back into stockings year after year?
I did at my Grans house, but not in my own. It would be filled with little sweets and little toys. I would be too afraid to have one on my fireplace.

9) Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
This year I don't have any trees, because when there is a loss in a family, one that was very dear, it's tradition for the Irish to not have any Christmas Tree in the house. Over the years we've had real ones but just 2 years ago my Dad decided he had enough taking his anger out on the tree, trying to get it fit into the bucket... Haa! So we usually have 3 trees, heehee, the more the merrier you see.

10) Are you a good gift wrapper?
No. I wish I was. I love seeing pretty gifts wrapped with the bow and everything. I just hate to destroy the wrappings.

Let me know guys what ye love doing at Christmas, where to go etc.

Thanks for reading,

Thankful Thursday

Hubba Hubba :)
'ow you all doin'?

I am actually trying to recall what happened this week. They are going by so fast; I feel as though I'm in that movie, 'Groundhog Day'. The week was though it had all happened before.
What a 'Thankful Thursday' this will be. Imagine if I remembered nothing at all, "Well this week I pretty much..... ahhh... well there was this and that.... so.... anyway, I hope you enjoyed that." :) Sounds like something I'd do anyway.

Credit: 'Pinterest'

My 'Thankful Thursday' of which I can remember:

1) Lindor chocolates, which I won in College... a bit over-competitive, but what the heck! I loved having a buzzer where it 'mooed'. Yeah, farm animal buzzers in a quiz... nothing can top that off!

2) New Instagram buddy :)

3) Morrisons... Terrys Chocolate... my fave!

4) Red John episode in 'The Mentalist'.

5) 'Casanova'.

6) Swimming with my little cousin.

7) Skype chats with family and besty pal.

8) Naps after College, planning on taking one after writing this.

9) Getting compliments at work... Awwww!

10) Organizing flight for Mauritius with family for 20 days...

11) Organizing expenses for Christmas.

12) Having the giggles in College.

13) Bastille - Of The Night

I hope all of you had a lovely week. Did ye do anything eventful? Any songs or movies to recommend?

Thanks everyone for keeping up with this somewhat disappointing information about myself, maybe next week there will be a little more that I can remember :)

Thankful Thursday

Hello Everyone,

It's unbelievable how fast that week flew by. I don't ever go back on my blogs, re-reading them that is, and yet with these Thankful Thursday Posts I can always remember what I wrote the previous time.
I wonder what changes there'll be in my life this time next year.... Hmm, curious!
Well I hope the changes will have a 'GOOD' affect on my life.

This week, I welcomed back 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here', and yes some of you are probably rolling your eyes, heehee, but I Love Ant & Dec... I can't help but laugh watching them. Can anyone remember the Koala on the show a few years back? I don't think I've ever remember such a funny time! That memory for some bizarre reason will always stick to my mind.

So this fast-forward-like week of what made me smile entailed of:
- 'I'm a Celebrity...' and 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
- A New Winter Brown/Maroon coat... expensive but so warm, I feel as though I go around the whole day wearing a duvet :)
- Ben & Jerry Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
- 'The Mentalist' Catch-up... this Monday will be an exciting episode... Ooooh Red John?
- 'Grey's Anatomy' Catch-up... Poor Bailey :(
- Mr Kipling cakes.
- Audrey Hepburn.
- Hanging around with my little 7 year old Cousin in the Shopping Centre, going from coffee shop to coffee shop (So Lazy).
- Coscos take-away cups... so festive and adorable, especially the babychino cups :)
- Organizing trip to Mauritius next March...
- New Stationary for Collage.
- Collage off both Wednesday and tomorrow.
- Gary Barlow 'Let Me Go'. I just become giddy when I hear it.
- Mint Hot-chocolate with lots of cream, in a HUGE mug, heehee :D
- My new phone, Nokia Lumina 920... truly obsessed with it.
- Re-enacting 'Big Brother' in class, yes we spend our time doing "important" things, Haa!

This week had a lot of giggles and organization, so I feel great looking back on it.

Snow is soon to be upon us here in London, and please God it won't mess up my flights for back home to Ireland. I have my fingers crossed.

Anyway I hope all of you had a lovely week, any highlights you'd like to share? Whether funny or interesting I'd love to hear from you readers :)

Love you all lots,

Thankful Thursday

Good Moaning (as Catherine Tate would say),

Today is Thursday, and in my brain, it's the start of the week. I wish I could say the week was easy and relaxing having not been at work because of College, but I have been spending my time stressing over assignments, a presentation and my Personal Statement for Uni. Stressful... yes!
It's so hard to know what route is the best. Especially as I come from Ireland, and don't know the different areas of London. I just can't wait by tomorrow it'll be all over. Everything in and paid for.
Let us hope that Michaela will be a little more stress-free by next week :)

So let us get along with the shebang :)

My Thankful Thursday consisted of:

-Booking my flight for Ireland (for a weekend getaway... that's right, I'm what the young ones would say... COOL! ;)
-BBC Adaption of 'Sense & Sensibility'.
-Zumba classes for the Abs.
-Job offer (a possibility) in working at the hospital beside me... anything is possible.
-Costa Coffee.
-Trip to the Center of London, and seeing all the pretty window displays.
-Jo Malone Signature Perfume of Lime Basil & Mandarin.
-Bubble Baths.
-Starbucks Festive X-mas cups.

Its small I know but that was my week, full of randoms, stress...

Let me know what your week entailed of :)

Thanks for reading :)

Thankful Thursday

This week was divided between time spent in Ireland and England. The half-term break was lovely. I got to spend time with my Family. Even my bed, which is like sleeping on the floor was comfortable to me.
Since it was Halloween, I assumed that I'd be watching scary movies but no, me and my Brother decided to watch comedy. We started off with 'Monster University' and 'This Is The End'.
I got my brother addicted to the Box-set, Season 1-3 of 'Downton Abbey'... "I KNEW YOU'D LIKE IT!"
Then after having so much candy in Ireland, I got back to London, getting my routine sorted.
I've even started a Fitness Diary (which will become a new post that I'll regularly do). So I've been pushing myself to do better with putting a stop to dairy, bread (I love bread, which sounds strange I know!) and I don't know how long this will last but a stop to chocolate, well it's a break. I'll treat myself from time to time.
I've also found a new love this week from 'Starbucks', it's of course a x-mas special, Gingerbread Latte... tres delicieux. It's even out past the Caramel Macchiato, saying a lot. And the Christmasy coffee cups... Ooooh, pretty!

Credit pictures from Pinterest

So this weeks Thankful Thursday is:
-I'm putting down Gingerbread Lattes... it deserves to be here!
-Zumba class.
-Getting a lift to College from lovely pal Sammy, such a  nice surprise. (If your reading Somayeh.... "Hiiiiiiii")
-Casseys blog over on Blogilates. Following your 12 week plan, which is so hard... ALREADY!
-'Downton Abbey'
-Smoothies.
-The Great Gatsby, the book.
-Oyster Card.
-The Cinema.
-Haagan Dazs Vanilla Ice-cream on Halloween night.
-Fireworks on Bonfire night in London.
Wah hey, that's all folks... I miss them cartoons so much.

I have been feeling so stressed since being back in London. Assignments, Essays and Presentations. Along with making decisions on what University's to go to... seriously so hard! Then there's the time to fit in exercise.
Let's hope this week won't be as hectic as this one.

Let me know what the highlights were of your week :) I'd be interested to know.

Love you all loads,

Hello November

Hello Sweety pies, (with pie flavour) :)
It's Monday night and I'm sitting down with a cup of earl tea watching Nicholas Cage on the T.V.
It's been a long while since I've posted (apart from my Thankful Thursday posts). Life has been busy with College and work, and with pretty much trying to kick my butt to go jogging in the park. I see how other people are able to juggle with these daily dilemmas, and I just don't know how. Please let me know in the comments below if you are indeed one of those people, and just 'HOW YOU DO IT!'

November is here... AT LAST! Christmas is only around the corner, meaning sparkly lights, trips to lit-up London, cozy nights in, family, friends, you know! Pretty much the usual, but lovely, well spent Christmas.

This November I'd like to start setting a few goals for myself, so that by December I'll be even more happier for Christmas... a treat for myself.

1) Get this 'routine' of mine sorted, heehee. So I don't have to feel so tired & stressed all the time.
2) Organize my new room, paint, some furniture from 'Ikea', little personal decor touches.
3) Start a diary on what food I eat, what exercise I do. This isn't only for losing weight but for my acne.
4) Buy my very own iphone.
5) Find some time (even on lunch breaks) for reading. There was a time when I'd read every night in my bed, best way I found for falling asleep, but I seem to have lost my interest because of all the crappy books I've come across in the last few months. So for now, I shall stick to the greats. I'm currently reading 'The Great Gatsby', movie was brilliant so the book I hope will be even better.

I hope that these goals will be reached, I'd be a happy camper if they were.

Anyway, let me know in the comments what you guys do to get through your weekly routines. Do ye find it difficult to get through even a day? I'd love to hear from ye.

Thankful Thursday

Hello Sweet peas :)

Last Sunday, for half-term, I thankfully got to fly over (plane, I ain't no Super-Girl), to my home in Ireland.
It was so nice to see the familiarity of the place. It is strange being here, I admit, seeing my bed-room was unusual. I'm kinda excited and sad about leaving this coming Sunday, for London. Everything is new over there, so I would miss the familiarity over here. I know the people, I know that I'm not going to get lost, well.... that's debatable really!
So this next term I hope I'll become more familiar with things and that I'll get a proper routine going. Library this day, Work this day, Zumba this day, catch up on blogs and You Tube this day...
But I am so happy to be home, getting hugs from my Mum, spending some time with my brother, watching 'Downton Abbey' Series 1,2 & 3... Exhausting. Cinema trips with friends :) Chatting and laughing with my BFF Edel. Being back, it's like nothing changed. Let's just say I'm looking forward to Christmas... fires, OH HOW I'VE MISSED THE OPEN FIRE! And movies, family/friends time...

These pictures show you where I live, and raised. In the countryside, in the middle of nowhere really, heehee :) Surrounded by mounds, hilly plains, grass, farm animals, a view of the Sligo Mountains. It's home to me. And I love breathing in the fresh air, so different to the open fumes in London. And it's quiet! I get to go to sleep with no traffic outside. I don't mind it really, but having some peace once in a while helps you to think and reflect properly.

Let's move on shall we....

My 'Thankful Thursday'
-Having my own money.
-Considerate friends.
-Ryanair flights, even though it was a bumpy ride.
-Snuggy PJs.
-Toasted Brack.
-Carrot Cake.
-Bff and Friends.
-Cinema trips.
-Catch-up time on You Tube (over 107 vids).
-'Bones' Wedding episode... waited a week for it.
-Mums hugs.
-Hot-water bottles.
-Sleep-in mornings.
-Gazing at the stars in the night sky, so magnificent compared to London I tell you.

I hope you all had a lovely week, well Thur-Thur so to speak.
Let me know what you've been up to during the week...

Thanks for reading,

Courage & Loyalty

(Credit - Pinterest)

Hello m'dears :)

This post I just want to talk about courage and loyalty. About how I see it. If you have any opinions on the topic feel free to comment away.

What is Courage? Do we all believe ourselves capable of ever ceasing it? I have always seen myself as someone who didn't really care of the consequences or what difficulties that I'd might face, but now I've realized that its not just the ability to overcome fear, or to be brave, it's more than that I feel. I see fear as both negative and positive. I don't want to feel fearless, other whys I won't feel a challenge. And I like challenges. I like myself being tested. I want to excel in my life with overcoming fear. I want to show my kids that its ok to feel fear, that it does in strange ways make you stronger. Yes, it may cause you unbearable pain at times, but you'll see that it's all for making you a better, more stronger individual.

Courage doesn't always have to be proven with words, it can equally be shown in silence. However not everyone notices, and sees you as a person who doesn't have an opinion or doesn't have a care in the world.

This week I took pride in myself of speaking up to someone who spoke badly of my Mother. My mum was pretty young when she had me so I was mostly taken care of by my Granny. Now yes it sounds bad, the idea of having someone take care of you, but my Mum is my role model, I hope one day I'll be happy as her. Have a family and home, friends, and a job that you love. I knew growing up that she was working to take care of her family. I knew that. So I don't think it's right to have people say unkind things about others when especially they don't understand the reasons that lie behind.

It's perfectly fine to have an opinion, but be careful! Respect should be shown as well. Usually I would be quiet if I disagreed with a person. It's good to hold your tongue at times. That way no ones feelings are hurt. I know when to hold my tongue and when not to!
When this person spoke badly of my Mum, I made sure to speak my mind and defend her. It was difficult because I know them really well, but I'm somebody who believes loyalty in a family is the thing that makes us closer. I know that my parents are always there for me, and they know that I'm always here for them.

Honesty is always said to be the best policy, but if for example your Mother goes to all lengths to make a meal for a special occasion, and you don't really like it, you don't say it out loud, hurting her feelings. The ones that say they prefer honesty should be careful because not everyone can take it.

And remember guys you may regret what you say out loud, life is short, so treat everyday like its your last and be kind to people.

I'm happy I defended my Mum. I felt better especially when only the day after she became sick, and she actually feared for her life. All is good now though, I have nothing to worry about.

(Credit -myself) Me and my Mum

Do you prefer honesty? Can you take it even if it hurts you? Always protect the ones you are most close to. Pluck up the courage and defend them. Know that day by day your courage will grow stronger. In a few weeks, months or years there will be a difference. You just need to try.

Thanks for reading everyone, love you all :) x

Thankful Thursday

Hello Beauties :)
It's yet another 'Thankful Thursday'... where I share what I was grateful for through the week.
It is actually becoming my favourite day of the week surprisingly. With having nice classes in College, finishing up at 2:30pm and looking forward to Friday :) I'm beginning to think that Thursday is now the start of the week ever since I started doing these posts.

So this week (from the pictures above) I spent my time studying for a big BIG exam in Physiology, working both Saturday and Sunday in the restaurant and attending a 'Mind, Body & Spirit Fair', which was a lot of fun. The psychic reading I got done was rubbish, I was the one being able to read her in the end..... FAKE!
But there were times that had me smiling and feeling good throughout the week.

Muh 'Thankful Thursday':
- Crumpets
- New Instagram Friend... she's so funny!
- 2 hour convo on Skype with Brother.
- Sunday lie-in with cousin watching 'X-Factor'.
- The Rain... yeah, because I'm happier with it when I'm working :)
- New facebook group... gossiping away about what not ;)
- A Clear Quartz Stone, a gift from a College friend.
- Birdy 'Wings'
- Watching 'Bones'... this will be a regular I grant you that... Sorry!
- New Gold Nail Varnish 'Barry M' from 'Superdrug' and a 'New Look' top.

I know people say this a lot, but this week did fly by... I'm happy by it really, mid-term is getting closer... YAY :) A whole week off.

So, I'm looking forward to what this week brings, hopefully unexpected, surprising things. I love surprises.

Thankful Thursday

Happy Thankful Thursday Everyone :)
Autumn has definitely arrived, bringing with it, the cold air, lots of rain, warm clothes and lots of cups of tea and hot cocos.

This week made me think about investing in a better coat, cos mine is useless. It may look pretty but it doesn't keep me warm like it should.... bad coat!
So I've been keeping happy with wearing my warm clothes, and basically trying not to get sick, because I have a very important exam next Tuesday in Physiology... NERVOUS MUCH!

So on with the show Ladies & Gentlemen... my thankful thursday list...

1) Respect and Trust (both giving and receiving)
2) Adding Pictures finally to my Instagram... delighted cos photography is one of the things I love.
3) Snuggy clothes, such as woolly jumpers & tracksuits.
4) My Eyes... lovely compliments from people.
5) Speaking my mind and for pushing myself to speak out in class debates.
6) My Guitar.
7) 'Boots' store.
8) Cadburys Chocolate Fingers... Oh Yeah Baby...
9) Having a strong, trusting relationship with my parents.
10) Catching up with old school friends.

There ya have it, everything that I was grateful for throughout the week. I'm glad I did this 'Thankful Thursday' because when I look over them, everything appears fresh in my mind.

And now, I am headed with a few friends from College to a 'Mind, Body & Spirit Fair' in North Finchley. The event will have Psychics, Tarot Readers, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Massages, Therapies and a variety of stalls.
I'm excited about going because I am into this sort of thing, and it's nice where I can go out for an evening for relaxation... all prepared for the next day of College and not exhausted, plus we'll probably have a laugh as we usually do.

Thanks m'luvs for reading, and I appreciate your time for scanning through this post :)

Lots of crazy love,

My September Favourites

Hey fellow readers, this is my 1st ever haul/ favourites post, so I hope that you do like it. I love Fashion so much. It is something that makes me get so hyper and heart racing.
I was told by a friend that I should do 'Fashion' posts, so maybe this will be the beginning :)
Can I add the dazzling sunshine as a favourite, because we didn't get much sun as I'd like this September, and when it did come out it made me so happy :)

Let us start us with the beauty collectibles that I adored this Month, all bought from 'Superdrug'.

- Sleek Make-Up Blush, Antique.
- Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil, in Dark, 001
& ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner (Waterproof).
- Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair, Shine Tonic.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo, XXL Volume.
- Tresemme Texture Style, Back Comb Dust (dizzying heights).

Sleek Blush, Antique
Since I am quite pale, I found that this blusher added a vintage, radiant flush to my cheeks. It can also be used as a highlighter I found. It's ultra-long lasting and it suits all skin types.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil
First time for everything, and for me I have never really paid much attention to my eyebrows (and I should have) there pretty fair compared to the colour of my hair (a little rhyme for you), so I had to see whether anything could be done. I felt so strange when I first used this applicator, I looked unnoticeable in the mirror, but I've gone extremely light with applying, and at last I have gotten used to it's ways. I find that if I have my eyes equally as good with make-up then it doesn't look so strange.

Scandaleyes Liquid Eyeliner
I've tried the L'oreal liquid eyeliner, and the maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise, and this one seemed to be my favourite. I feel as though this pen does the job for me, I get the line as thin as possible with this eyeliner, which I wasn't so successful on doing with the others.

Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair
This is to be applied on dry, styled hair.
Thankfully, this spray doesn't make my hair feel oily, it does what it says on the tin. Adds shine. I have sadly dull, dry hair, and this shine tonic, tricks the eye, making it appear so healthy and shiny... Ooooh.
People will say, "Ooh, your hair looks so shiny, surely you must have used something!"....
"No m'darlings, not a thing!"... wink wink, heehee :) Nah only joking... must advertise the product at least (show my appreciation).

Baptiste Dry Shampoo, XXL Volume
I found this to be very much like strong hairspray, so take caution! Use sparingly! But it does like it says, adds lots of Volume. I am always in a rush, so this is great for me, when I want to tie my hair up, and make the roots appear more bouncy :)

Tresemme Texture Style, Backcomb Dust
And lastly, my favourite beauty item. For me, instead of following the instructions that say to apply on your hands, I just sprinkle it, little by little, onto my scalp. It made my hair feel so soft as well, which was a surprise bonus for me. It also isn't as difficult as dry shampoo, where you have to hide the white dust. Me love love this product. Thumbs up I say :)

Lepard Print Umbrella & A Pretty Little Box
Umbrella cos like it rains... heehee. Very important. Aaaand...
It's a box... yeah, but not only a box... a secret opening to NARNIA!
If only it were true.
The reason why I bought this was because starting from September, me and best friend EdelBelle (you must know her by now, with me mentioning her all the time), well we're sending cards to one another till the end of July, (the duration of our separation from College). And in these cards, we ask one another a question. It could be about, "What's your opinion on anxiety?"...."What's your favourite Season?" Which I wrote in my first Issue (of September) to her. So my given cards will be added to this box, along with some pictures.

Each of these cards are in a set of 3. I adore them so much and thank heavens Edel loves them too. I am awaiting for my card to come in the post, so I'm excited to see what she says.

Slippers from 'Primark'
These are a huge favourite. They were given to me as a 'Welcome' present by my Aunt, for my stay in London. And they're from 'Primark'.
I love how it has the soft pink flowers attached to the sides, and that it has a gold, crisp lining at the bottom. Also strangely they match my new umbrella, well I'm not going to be using the umbrella in the house, or my slippers out in town, so... actually you know what, maybe I could dance around the house with the umbrella... Hmmm, that could work out to be quite fun!

'New Look' Boots and New brown patched-look leather Purse
I took these pictures the day I bought my new purse. Nice leather, good leather.
And I wanted to show you the boots, that my Mum bought for me, before coming to London. They're from 'New Look', and their price was (in sterling) £37.
I also wanted to show you from outside my College in Barnet.
I loved how the red brick and fallen leaves matched my boots and my purse.

So there you have it guys, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings, photos, stories and product opinions.
It's only a start, but I hope that I will continue with doing posts very much like these.

Love you all so much,

Cheerio x
