30 Day Snap #30 | Final Day, Sunny Day

So Guys, it's all finished. It'll be nice to look back on these photos I think.
This month was a pretty busy month, with coming over here to London, having an interview for Nursing (where I'll be starting this coming September), having my brother and bff coming over from Ireland, going to the movies, shopping, my trips to London, babysitting in between it all.
Today I went to a temple in Letchmore Heath. It was a lovely spot for such a beautiful day.

I'm planning on grouping my favourite photos together for a blog when I head back home to Ireland as well, might as well show the memories.

Anyway let me know what your highlights were during this snap challenge.

30 Day Snap #29 | London trip and A Right Old Laugh

Today me and my Brother Aran and my BFF 'Edel Belle' went off to London for the day. It was great I might add. As you can see from this picture, we all loved 'Big ben'.
My brother looks as though he's in pain, and well Edel... she's always like that :)
She got her Real Technique brushes and I got my 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'... so all good :D

Anyway hopefully more days to London before I head back home.

Last day tomorrow guys... :(

30 Day Snap #28 | Birthday Party & High at Morissons

As you can see from this picture, I was at a kiddies birthday party. So tiring! Even though it was only a little over two hours, I was exhausted. Some kid got lost, I eventually found the guy running laps around the ball pen. I was delighted to get home though.

Then after dinner, I went to 'Morissons' with 'Edel Belle', for some strange reason, we come out of 'Morissons' like we're high or something, don't know why but it happens, pulling faces at strangers walking by in the store and diving for cover. And then we come home doing Texan accents. We are weird right? Weird is great though :)

So with returning back home tonight with 2 movies, 'The Adjustment Bureau' and 'Wimbledon', a load of sweets and bottles of Coke (I decided to get the one with 'Zoe' on it, seeing as she is one of my most favourite You Tubers :D), me and Edel are gonna plan our London trip for tomorrow and may attempt to watch 'Wimbledon'.

Anyway let me know what y'all been up to... not nosey, curious :)

30 Day Snap #27 | Pretty Background

The picture that I've chosen is of a collage of my pictures, my interests and such. My friend made it for me a while back. I think it's pretty cool. I love seeing my photography looking as though its great. It makes me smile :)

30 Day Snap #26 | Pretty Nail Varnish

For a beautiful day, my friend did my nails... a pretty blue pastel colour (love pastel colours), along with a bit of glam. Painted nails are as good an accessory than any I think. Strangely enough my Dad got me this ring as well, unusual from a Dad, right? The diamond is just the size I like.

I took this picture in the park with my friends and Uncle, playing football and frisbee.

Also it's only 4 days until this snap challenge is finished. I'm not complaining, it is tricky to get it done, with time and everything, but I'm happy that I'll be able to look back on these and smile to what foolishness I did and what silly pictures I put up. I'll be calling myself "a right idiot".

30 Day Snap #25 | Cookies & Frisbee

Hey lads and lassies, only a few more days left to this snap challenge... awwww :(

So today was an absolute gorgeous day, the sun shining all day :)
And me and my friends had to a great day out, walking (gotta keep up with my exercise, ya know, tres important), relaxing looking out at a pond, and in the evening, we went to a little bar\restaurant and I helped myself to some cookie dough ice-cream on a humungous cookie... Delicious :D
The bar was called the 'Battle Axes', and it was a pretty building, settled out in Elstree. We ate outside in the sunshine and then continues on to playing frisbee. I had forgotten how much fun frisbee was. I had so many of them up on the roof of my grandmothers house as a child.

So the day included fun and exercise, things I've been hoping to have this Summer.
Anyway let me know what you've been up to, I'll try to read as many blogs tomorrow, hopefully I'll be having a quite day.

30 Day Snap #24 | Cadburys, Sherlock & Superman

Hey there,
How there, how do you do? Well I had an exciting day today lads, it was a tiring start at first, but it turned out pretty damn awesome.

Me and my brother Aran, and my best friend Edel went shopping today, and to the cinema. We found a Cadburys shop, and got some boxes of chocolates. The best thing about these is that they're all strawberry flavoured ones... my fave's :)

And then we wandered along 'Waterstones' book shop, trying to look like teenagers around the teen books... like when we're in our 30's we'll still be hanging around there.
Then after dragging my friend out from the shop, heehee, only kidding, but she does love books, we then hit HMV, and became very happy and sad all at the same time. It's a horrible experience while shopping. I'm waiting to buy stuff just before I head back to Ireland, that way I'll have my money for important things like London and Harry Potter Studios. So I left 'The Mentalist', the lovely Simon Baker, and 'Australia', on the shelves... it broke my heart :(

But on a good note, my brother did buy 'Sherlock' Season 1 and 2. I'm a huge fan of Sherlock. I loved the movies, and according to my brother I will no doubt love this series. WOO HOO... can't wait :D

Theeeen, we saw 'Man of Steel' in the Odeon cinema, adverts went on for a half an hour, but for some odd reason, I didn't mind it. The movie was great, because of it's cast and of the guy playing Superman, and of it's score in the background, and of the guy playing Superman, oh and of the guy playing Superman. He barely had anything to say in the movie, he would just gaze in the distance and would have us hooked, the girls that is... the guys were probably content with the amount of action in the movie. Seriously, every 10 minutes there was an explosion. The story tweaked around a little so I'm looking forward to the next one.

Let me know guys what other movies are worth watching, whether in the Cinema, or on DVD :)

30 Day Snap #23 | A Jolly Good Day Out

Pardon Dearies,
but this picture was the best of the lot, heehee. My brother told me to do a funny face, he's camera shy, good thing too, ahhhh no, only joking :)

Anyway we went to a little school event today, music, bouncy castles, candy floss, ice-cream and people dressed up as bears, and other fictional characters like Buzz lightyear, Snow White...
I got to look around the gardens of the School, Haberdashers it's called, and yes, look at them gardens, so well kept. And they're huge!

Having a right old laugh, we were :D

Anyway let me know what you're all up to, I'm all ears :)

30 Day Snap #22 | Nandos & Luton Airport

Heya everyone :) Well today was such a crappy day, with continuous rain and wind, but with all I spent the day shopping, going to my cousins Irish Dancing lesson, going to church, having lunch in Nandos (the chicken was soooooo gooood), attending a Birthday party and my favourite part of the day picking up my best friend and Brother at Luton Airport.

Funnily enough, as soon as we picked them up, the sun came out. So we finished the evening with hanging around the back garden and having some pizza, lots of chicken and salad.

I'm so flippin' excited about everything we'll do. Both of them are hilarious in their own ways. So some good memories to be pictured I hope :)

How is everyone getting on with their snap challenge? Ok I hope... otherwise we'll have Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) disappointed, heehee.

30 Day Snap #21 | Visitation/Presentation Day

School events are the memories I will hold onto the most. I loved how my family were there cheering me on. My Mum and Dad worked but I did have my Granny and Aunt. I was lucky to have my parents  at my Transition Year and Graduation Mass. Everyone loves making their families proud.

So today I went to my little cousins Visitation Day outing with her Dad. The teachers were dressed in their long black gowns, and the students were coming in with their heads held high. There were speeches about their achievements and their participations, and there was beautiful music from the students. The piano and organ made the celebration really something. I'm hooked when I hear the piano being played by a real professional.

Afterwards we were brought back to the school for food and refreshments. I filled my plate with little cakes and wraps... I reeeeally wanted to keep the plate. So delicate looking. And I had some punch.
Then I got to see the classrooms and the projects that were made by the little kiddies.

It would have been an even more special day if the rain hadn't come, but the school staff were prepared with their marquees set up.

Tonight my Aunt had surprised us all with a visit, coming from Ireland. The whole house then was filled with Irish Music and dance. We stuffed ourselves with pizza then mangos and vanilla ice-cream (odd combination, right?)

Anyway what have you all been up to today? Anything new or interesting?

30 Day Snap #20 | Healthy Eating

Everyone knows how to eat healthy but we choose our happiness more than following the rules. I don't know why it is, but most of us prefer sweets to fruit. We know it's bad for us but still we continue to eat it. For us innocent (boring) people it's our way of breaking the rules, being bad for once... oh yes, for us it's exciting, heehee :)

But ever since I've been here in England, I've been eating so much fruit... my mother usually steels all the fruit at home. But here, I have all my favourites, mangoes, cherries, peaches... very satisfied with it all.

I promised myself I'd be healthier. Like I still have my treats, I'm not gonna stop my luxuries, especially as I don't drink or smoke... yeah REAL innocent. But with these treats, I have to exercise.
I'm hoping to gain back that confidence that was once lost with keeping healthy and fit.

Are any of ye hoping to achieve any goals this Summer? Become more healthy? Go to places where you've never been?

30 Day Snap #19 | Sunny London

Today was a lovely day, 28 degrees man, and this evening its 25... like I would love a temperature of 35 degrees :)
So I took out a blanket and laid down scanning through some old pictures, listening to music and for ages I was trying to get knots tangles out of a chain. They're so damn hard.
I would have preferred a book out in the sun, but sadly I don't have any. But music and listening to the neighbours rambling on was fun enough.

Please God will there be sunshine for us all tomorrow... the weather has such an affect on our moods... I wonder at times what it would be like to live in a hot country... Oh The Dream... :)

30 Day Snap #18 | London Check List

Ello rummy chummys,
I hope you're all keeping active with this snap challenge :)
I'm pretty normal these last few days, just plain pictures. But hopefully that'll all change when the gang arrive from Ireland... my lil brother and my best friend... check her out on bloglovin or blogger, EdelBelle... if your into books well she's the right person for you.

Anyway I wrote out a list on what we will be up to when they arrive.

Cinema trips
We all equally love the cinema. Its one of my favourite places in the world. Like you can find a Cinema anywhere in the world... buuut I doubt there's one in the Sahara Desert... hmm, someone needs to get working on that.
But, ah yeah, cinema, we have 'Man of Steel' and 'Hangover Part 3' already chosen. CAN NOT WAIT!

London
We'll be hitting the clothes shops, bookstores, Museums and probably end up buying a lot of crap. Stuff that has no purpose or function whatsoever. Plus I love the rhythm that London has along with its quirky, vintage shops, the street entertainment and cosy cafes.

Camden Markets
I've never been, but it's greatly known to have it's stalls of designer clothes, accessories at great prices. I'll end up buying my clothes there, even though I know perfectly well I'll  get lost in London's Primark.

Harry Potter Studios
This place I hope is a definite. I am the biggest fan of the Harry Potter books and movies, and so is my best friend and brother. So we'll have a brilliant day out. I just can't wait to see everything. And with some hope I could buy a gift for myself... sounds so childish... and selfish, heehee.

The list also has things we'll be getting up to back home, movie nights, walks, just relaxing really.

Let me in on what other places that should be visited in London.

30 Day Snap #17 | Babysitting

Hi-hi :)
I was stuck indoors most of today, it's been quite cold all day and I realise I sound like an old lady... but thankfully tomorrow, it's supposed to be a lovely day, temperatures at 25 degrees ... BIG WOOP WOOP!

So this evening I sat myself down with my cousin and was entertained by her homework. I can't remember doing maths homework with pennies. There's something sort of cute about a child counting with their fingers. Face full of concentration... forehead all crinkled up.

Anyway I'm getting excited for tomorrow... love the sun I do, I do, I do.

Do any of you remember counting with your fingers when you were little... I remember feeling so stupid as a kid :) Heehee.

30 Day Snap #16 | Miss my Guitar

Hey my fellow marshmallows,
I'm sorry about being sooooo late with this blog post, but I've been chatting to my bff about her holiday in luxembourg... just chatting for a few hours, as you do... (well it's tradition for us), and immediately talking to her, I think of music, our passion for it, and of how I miss it so much... I miss my guitar and piano, and being able to sing with no people around.

ah well, Im looking forward to getting back to my music :)

30 Day Snap #15 | Church & Change

Church is very important in my life. I go every Sunday, I have been since I can remember. And it was my Grand-mother who showed me how important it is to have faith. And I've gone through so much, believing that God was punishing me, but I do accept all the bull crap that's happened to me, my life could be much worse... so I thank God for how I have such friends and family, and a home where I feel safe in.

Church is a place where you can just think and talk to the ones we've lost, and I find it so tranquil listening to the choir in a church... I love the natural echo that is carried out around the chapel.
Seeing by this photo, I went in early before Mass, just to say a few prayers and light a few candles. I came across a simple, lovely prayer by the candles. And there I admitted that I need to learn to get over my pride and selfishness at times... I need change in my life. I want to smile more. More than i used to. And so when I think of this prayer, I think of how lucky I am, and how many out there aren't.

"Lord, may this candle be a light,
for you to enlighten me in my difficulties and decisions.

May it be a fire
for you to burn out of me
all pride, selfishness and impurity.

May it be a flame
for you to bring warmth into my heart
towards my family, my neighbours, and
all those who meet me.

Through the prayers of the Mary Virgin
and Mother and St. Anthony. I place in
your care those I come
to pray for (especially.................)

I cannot stay long with you
in this church:
In leaving this candle
I wish to give you
something of myself

Help me to continue my prayer into
everything I do this day.

Amen"

30 Day Snap #14 | Chinese & Miranda

I had so much fun today with my music, singing all day (even with a sore throat) and in the evening I went for a Chinese meal... to the BUFFET!! I don't eat much, but I like how I can decide on the amount of food I want. My little cousin made me laugh so much, we came out of the toilets dancing. The waiter that went by looked as though he'd seen people dancing out of the toilets many times.

After coming home I sat myself down and watched an episode of Miranda. I absolutely love her. I can re watch her episodes all the time.

Day out in London

Hey Guys,
So a few days ago, I went to London for a day out, and I got to explore around for myself. I was lucky enough to have good weather because I was dreading the idea of walking around in the rain.

I got to see St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Square, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus and some magnificent historic buildings.

St. Pauls Cathedral.

I never got to see the Shard but hopefully one day I will.

I had a little snack during the day at Costa, a delicious mocha latte with a scrumptious vanilla and blueberry cake...YUUUUUM!

When my BFF comes over, we'll probably hop onto this London Eye yokey mobobby.

Me and muh homies at Big Ben...

I visited the grand Westminster Abbey... I was told by some security man that all the celebs came in this entrance at Prince William and Kates Wedding. David Beckham went through these doors... Ahhhh :)

This was so strange, this photo was taken the day before Nelson Mandela became ill. I should have stood up beside him, there I am looking even more tiny.

When I see this I think of Harry Potter, entrance to the Ministry of Magic :D

I think having an M&M store is pointless, who would buy anything??...... *cough*.... ME!

I wish I could watch my favourite shows on this tv.

So London was such a fun trip. I hope to go back in a few days with my friend, maybe even see a play or musical... so it'll be even more fun.

Let me know if there is any shows that are worth seeing :)
